Collections – Pomegranates

In the land of pomegranates

Fruit that comes from the East, traveling through time and history, a symbol of fertility and a taste of Mediterranean lands.

A few days ago, we were walking with Caetano through the forest surrounding our home when we came across two trees. The fresh fruit captivated us, and we dared to harvest one of its fruits. We opened it to discover the tiny red seeds, carefully nestled inside their dry shell, holding water, freshness, and sweetness.

Its shape and flavor—but especially its color—caught my attention and inspired me to create this new earring capsule, now part of the “Harvest” collection, inspired by the gifts nature gives us.

Using a blend of techniques, I shape its elongated, glossy leaves; with the chisel, I create the texture, fire brings it all together, and pigments produce those explosive colors.
